Watch the video above to see exactly how to attach the KBS Cavity Wand to the Cavity Coater Aerosol can. The wand's 360° spray tip makes it easy to coat door panels, frame rails, rocker panels, and any other enclosed metal area that's prone to hidden rust — no disassembly required.

Three Keys to a Perfect Application

  1. Shake thoroughly. Before attaching the wand, shake the Cavity Coater Aerosol can vigorously for at least one minute. The formula contains active corrosion-inhibiting solids that settle during storage — a good shake ensures they're fully suspended and ready to spray.
  2. Attach the wand correctly. Align the Cavity Wand over the spray tip, push straight down with gentle, firm pressure, and give it a slight twist to lock it in place. You'll feel it seat securely. Avoid forcing it at an angle, which can damage the valve.
  3. Apply at the right temperature. For best atomization and penetration, apply when both the can and the work surface are between 65°F–80°F. Cold cans produce weak spray; a warm can (slightly above room temperature) delivers the full, even mist that lets Cavity Coater self-level into every seam and crevice.

Why KBS Cavity Coater Aerosol?

Cavity Coater is a single-step, super-penetrating corrosion inhibiting coating (CIC) built for long-term rust protection on all bare and previously rusted metal surfaces. Once applied, it forms a self-healing wax-resin film that creeps into micro-pores and seams — places that brush or roller application simply can't reach. It's the go-to solution for door skins, box rails, quarter panel cavities, and any enclosed space where moisture likes to hide.
