Tank Sealer

Used the 8 oz tank sealer on my 2.5 gallon motorcycle tank after prepping it according to the detailed instructions. At first, I was concerned that there wouldn't be enough sealer even though the instructions said there was. Anyway, there was plenty, and the end result was fantastic. The coating looked perfect and covered the entire inside of the tank. I highly recommend KBS products.

KBS Tank Sealer

Love this product. It is the best I've used for sealing motorcycle tanks. Provides a smooth, tough, durable finish for old, rusty interiors (or exteriors). The process is straightforward, but as with any such product, requires strict adherence to instructions and patience to do it right. This is the 2nd tank I've done and I'm very happy with the results. Already planning to seal another tank with this.

Great tank liner for a baffled 35 gallon diesel tank

This worked great for me. I used 1 gallon in all. I used a bathroom fan to aerate the tank .

I use KBS exclusively, have been for years. Never a failure, the product works extremely well but preparation is important, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!

Feuerhand 280 Repair

After Hurricane Helene passed through and made a mess of things, I wanted to make sure that my hurricane lanterns were all in top notch condition just in case there was another loss of power in the area. Using the Gold Standard tank sealer was a very simple process and it worked perfectly. And, yeah, they're right when they tell you to stir instead of shake! My Feuerhand 280 lanterns are better than ever! A little goes a long way, and the small can of sealant still has enough to do at least one more lantern, maybe two. From now on, I will be sealing all of my lanterns as I collect them. I use them for ambiance and power outages, so they don't just sit around looking pretty throughout the year. Knowing that the tanks are sealed and I won't have any problems with leaks is a real "peace of mind" kind of thing. Yeah, my Feuerhand 276 might be brand new, but there's no harm in sealing the tank 'just in case'. Might as well nip the problems in the bud, right? So, two thumbs up for KBS. Excellent communication and instruction. Thorough in every sense of the word. Follow the directions and you'll have a fantastic experience just like I did.

John Deere A rebuild

The fuel tank on my John Deere A was in bad shape. After a thorough cleaning, I coated it with the KBS tank seal; now it looks like new inside. The product worked just like it was advertised. I highly recommend it!

Two Thimbs Up !

Extremely happy with the end results as well as the cost effectiveness of the "Gold Standard" tank sealer. First tank we did, we used a little too much and it took awhile to get it to spread out evenly. Second tank we got smarter and only put in what was necessary for a nice looking, even coat. What was the biggest surprise was after 16 hours under a mild heat lamp, we were able to install and fill with gas. As with any tank sealer system, the key for a professional job is prep, prep, prep. We are lifetime believers in this product.

Like a new tank

I'm very happy with the results of using KBs I followed the instructions very carefully and it seems to have did a very good job. Do be careful and do not get on painted surfaces I forgot to put seal back on lid very hard to get off of paint

A different application

We had a coolant tank for cutting fluids that was rusted pretty badly and leaking. We were not able to get a replacement tank for 2 months with today's environment of material shortages. We came across KBS online and we gave it a try. The process was simple.to follow and we had our grinding machine back up and running within a week. KBS saved us 6 or 7 weeks of down time while waiting on a replacement tank. Even if this is a temporary fix in our application, getting our machine up and running was critical to our production schedule. It has been 6 weeks now and the replacement tank hasn't arrive yet. We have been told it will take another 4 weeks. This isn't a problem because of KBC tank sealer is still holding up.

Cut open fuel tank sealed top to bottom Rewlded plate installed on unit filled with fuel. This stuff is great and easy to work with. 2nd time We used this on another piece of construction equipment Excellent product

5400 Gold Standard Tank Sealer

My first time to use the 5400 tank sealer. It is very easy to use and dries and adheres to bare clean steel extremely well. The best part to me is it flexible unlike resins I have been using!

KBS Tank Sealer Is Good Stuff

I use KBS Tank Sealer to slow the deterioration of certain decaying (and irreplaceable) parts on carburetors I restore from the early 1930s and prior. Many pot metal components suffer from inner-granular fracture and your Tank Sealer seems to slow this process. It is also convenient that, when dried, the coating closely resembles the natural pot metal surface.

Worked great on chain saw

I have a 40 year old large , large Stihl chain saw that still runs great. However, a couple of months ago the gas tank split on the bottom after being hit and dropped many times. There are no replacements available. So, I started out cleaning the saw and then by using the KBS cleaning products in and around the tank. Then, I used a wire brush to get all the paint off the outside. Next, I used JB Marine weld epoxy along the outside of the seam. After that dried, I cleaned the inside of the tank again and used the KBS tank sealer. What product I had left I used on top of the epoxy and around the edges of the tank. I let it sit for about 5 days before use. Saw is back in operation. So, far I have taken down and cut up three large trees and NO leaks.

Smooth as silk

After a complete cleaning and treatment with "Rust Blast". I followed the instructions and installed what appears to be a secondary tank inside my tank. The material flowed excellently and set up in a timely manner. I am still working on refinishing the outside of my tank so I have yet to put ant gas in it, but I think it will now stand the test of time.
