The all-inclusive KBS Large System Sampler Kit contains everything you need to clean, prep, and apply two coats of RustSeal on up to a 25 square foot area.

RustSeal is a total rust inhibitor and rust preventive coating.

RustSeal features incredible brushed flow out characteristics. Your project will look like it has been powdercoated even when it was brushed!

RustSeal chemically bonds to rusted steel to form a rock-hard, non-porous coating that won't crack chip, or peel. It works by isolating metal from moisture. Without moisture present, steel can't rust.

RustSeal is a non-porous, flexible coating that is incredibly tough and extremely resistant to abrasion and impact.

Good product, great customer service

My engine block looks great, used the Klean, Blast and Seal before applying engine paint. Customer service was outstanding. Ordered the wrong product, called them immediately, they told me what I needed and made a great effort to change the items before shipping. Very pleased.

Wow: KBS Clean

I was blown away by how well KBS Clean got rid of engine compartment deposits. I had used a foaming engine cleaner first, and KBS Clean removed deposits, often without scrubbing, that the foaming cleaner hardly touched.

Large System Sample

I'm happy with the products, I used it on the underside of my truck. After 5 years of Wisconsin winters it was not looking good. I got the rust off the best I could and followed the instructions with the Clean, Rust Blast and the Seal. It looks like a very durable coating so far and I can see it is quite flexible from the leftover material. I'm confident in the product, we'll see after this winter if I did a good job or not.

Rust Seal System

Use the system. I did a previous review on Rsut Seal. Using Klean, Rust Blast, then Rust Seal works well. The Rust Seal lays down well and when you top coat it with the BlackTop Chassis it makes for a good finish. It is about the same price as POR15. However, I have seen POR15 peel off. I have not seen KBS Rust Seal Peel. My pictures speak for themselves - Happy with the results! If you are doing a whole chassis, you will need about 3 quarts for a full size 8' bed truck. Then 1 more quart for the bed itself.

Tacoma Frame Rust Prevention

Within the past year, I purchased a 2010 Toyota Tacoma with 17K miles that was babied by the previous owner in Wisconsin (a Rust Belt state). Tacoma frames have an extended warranty due to bad design that holds sand, salt and dirt with many owners needing frame replacement due to rust corrosion. My Tacoma frame had some rust pitting that was noticed after a deep cleaning. The rear bumper and spare wheel were also showing some pitting after the cleaning. The truck just had a fender mender on the box that required the body shop to remove the box to replace a side panel. While the box was off I had them coat what they could of the frame with Rust Seal. I also coated the backside of the bumper, the hitch, the spare wheel and the bumper drop down channel with Rust Seal. I'm hoping that the Rust Seal will prevent the inevitable deterioration of the underside of the Tacoma. The coating does go a long way (even with two coats) and has a uniform satin appearance. The only reason that I rated with four stars instead of five is that I had to completely destroy the paint can in order to get the liquid out. This was a small pint size can and the lid just would not come off.

Mower Deck

needed something to protect underside of mower deck,it was rusting bad so sanded and prepped surface and used rust seal seems like a very tough paint, I will put it the test this summer and see how it holds up

Great Stuff!

I have sealed two small fuel tanks and now two mower decks with KBS products and i am very pleased with the performance. This is especially true of my motorcycle fuel tank. That tank was sealed several years ago and I have had no issues whatsoever. The tank even had small rust pinholes and the KBS sealed them up. The metallic silver color and the way the sealer lays down makes it appear like it is the steel tank. You cannot tell the product is there and it never changes color or peels. Amazing compared to other products! I will buy KBS coatings whenever I have another project because the product is awesome and the service/shipping is incredible. You folks are doing a great job so keep it up. And feel free to contact me if you would like any photos of my work.

Huge fan of Rustseal. I use it on everything. Best on the market. The KBS Clean is outstanding, really like this product. I use nothing else but KBS products for all my painting and rust solutions.

Perfect Kit

I pulled the carpet from my trunk and the metal was all rusted. I got this kit, prepped the metal and painted it black. Looks great. Very easy to you and the finish seems bullet proof.
