Good Choice, but follow the directions to the letter

After 25 years of faithful service, my utility trailer needed a rebuild and refresh. After fabrication and fixing some issues from the original manufacturer, it was time to prep and paint. The bottom side was coated with the grey rust seal. Two coats applied with the supplied brushes with close adherance to the directions. All went according to plan. I flipped the trailer over and following another week of prep for the top side, it was time to coat. I applied two coats of the top coater with high quality HVLP spray equipment. I admittedly got in a bit of a hurry as kids and projects will do. The application of the top coat with the spray equipment left the surface tacky and soft for the better part of a week and a half. Applicator error as I should have used the brush and been more patient to allow the suggested cure time in between coats. Not all was lost as the top side is finally cured and seems to be in its proper state. Top Coater color was Battleship Grey which works very well for my application but was much more blue tinted than I expected. I absolutely suggest a color chip as the monitor color was a bit off. Overall even with my application errors and the few hiccups, I would suggest this system at this time. American Made products, good quality packaging and a fair value. Shipping time to me was blazing fast.

Frame restoration

Great product,looks great and easy to apply,hard to clean up,but I reckon that’s a good thing.

Worked perfectly!

We used the black as a rust protection and to hopefully darken the safety blue which we put onn over it. This was used on a custom front bumper and storage box on the rear of a pilot car. We had blue reflective vinyl stickers/signs on the vehicle and were hoping for a close match. It all worked out perfectly. Easy to apply (in spite of our weather conditions at the time) and seems to be scratch resistant. Absolutely will buy this stuff again for our next project!

Use on Jet Ski Trailer - Love It

I wire wheeled my jet ski trailer and then used this kit to coat the trailer in a ballteship gray finish. The process was very simple and all of the paints brushed out nice. I was shocked. Highly recommend this complete kit.
