Factory Direct. Ships Same Day!
KBS Bed Renu is an aerosol bedliner coating that restores worn truck bedliner and doubles as a textured, UV-stable bumper and fender paint. One 15 oz. aerosol can covers up to 30 sq. ft. and cures fast enough to recoat within 1 to 2 hours.
KBS Bed Renu goes on with a standard aerosol can, so no gun, compressor, or mixing is required to touch up a worn bedliner or repaint a bumper. The textured black finish deadens road noise and vibration while absorbing minor impacts, which is why it holds up on fender flares and running boards as well as it does inside a truck bed.
KBS Bed Renu resists staining from fuel, oil, and other harsh chemicals and will not crack, bubble, or peel once cured. It stays flexible rather than going brittle, so it can flex with a plastic bumper or fender flare instead of cracking off it.

KBS Bed Renu is designed for bedliners, bumpers, fender flares, running boards, and other high-abuse exterior panels on cars, trucks, motorcycles, and off-road vehicles. It also holds up on commercial, fleet, and municipal equipment including snow plows, tractors, agricultural equipment, construction machinery, and trains.
KBS Bed Renu combines bedliner-grade toughness with the convenience of an aerosol can, so it applies like spray paint but performs like a bedliner. It resists chips, scratches, and stains while staying flexible enough to move with the panel underneath it.
One 15 oz. aerosol can of KBS Bed Renu covers up to 30 sq. ft. with a standard application. Actual coverage depends on film thickness, so a heavier coat for maximum durability will cover less area per can.
Recoat window: Recoat once the previous coat is dry to the touch, typically 1 to 2 hours depending on humidity, and always within 24 hours of the prior coat curing. Full cure is reached in about 48 hours.
Pro Tip: Apply thin coats rather than one heavy coat. A heavy, close-range coat is the most common cause of runs and sags, and it also uses up the can's coverage faster than intended.
KBS Bed Renu differs from standard rubberized spray bumper paint in that KBS Bed Renu is formulated as a true bedliner coating: it resists chemical staining and holds a textured, UV-stable finish, while most spray bumper paints are cosmetic rubber coatings that chalk and fade faster in direct sun.
Standard spray bumper paint can be the simpler choice for a quick cosmetic touch-up on a panel that will not see much abrasion or sun exposure, since it typically costs less per can than a bedliner-grade coating.
If the bumper or fender flare has bare metal showing through, prep it with the KBS 3-Step Rust Prevention System before applying KBS Bed Renu.

KBS Bed Renu is an aerosol bedliner coating that restores worn truck bedliner and doubles as a textured, UV-stable bumper and fender paint. Unlike a cosmetic rubberized spray paint, it is formulated to resist chemical staining and hold its texture and color under UV exposure.
KBS Bed Renu can be used on truck bedliners, bumpers, fender flares, running boards, and similar exterior panels on cars, motorcycles, off-road vehicles, and commercial or agricultural equipment.
Yes. For the best adhesion on bare, untreated plastic (like ABS bumper covers or fender flares), prime with a flexible plastics primer such as Fusion FPP before applying KBS Bed Renu.
KBS Bed Renu is dry to the touch and ready to recoat in 1 to 2 hours depending on humidity. Full cure is reached in about 48 hours, and each coat should be applied within 24 hours of the previous coat curing.
Apply KBS Bed Renu at room temperature between 50°F and 90°F (10°C to 32°C), in moderate to dry conditions of 70% humidity or lower, for the best cure and finish.
Shake the can for at least one minute, then hold it 8 to 10 inches from the surface and spray in overlapping back-and-forth strokes. Apply thin coats rather than one heavy coat to avoid runs and sags, and recoat once the prior coat is dry to the touch.
KBS Bed Renu bonds to properly prepped wood, aluminum, and fiberglass in addition to steel bedliner and bumper surfaces. Clean the surface with KBS Klean first and avoid solvent-based cleaners, which can leave a residue that weakens adhesion.
Wipe wet overspray immediately with a rag before it cures. Once cured, KBS Bed Renu is a hard film and must be removed mechanically, so avoid oversaturating the sprayhead and keep the work area masked off during application.
One 15 oz. aerosol can covers up to 30 sq. ft. Actual coverage depends on how heavy the coat is sprayed, so a thicker, more durable coat will cover somewhat less area.
Prep bare metal with the KBS 3-Step Rust Prevention System first: clean with KBS Klean, etch with RustBlast, then prime and seal with RustSeal before applying KBS Bed Renu. This gives the longest-lasting finish on rusted or bare metal.
