The KBS Top Coater Camo 4 Pack, four 12 oz cans, covers up to 100 sq. ft. with a full four color camo pattern. That figure allows for the overspray that comes with laying down a camo pattern; a single 12 oz can sprayed as a solid color covers up to 30 sq. ft. in one coat.

Coverage will vary based on surface texture, porosity, and application technique. Rough, sandblasted, or bare wood surfaces absorb more material and reduce coverage.

Dry time: Dry to touch in approximately 30 minutes. Recoat once the previous coat is dry to touch; average recoat time is 1 to 2 hours depending on humidity, and coats go on consecutively within 24 hours. Full cure is usually reached within 24 hours.

Step 1: Surface Prep

Start with KBS Klean on all surfaces to remove oil, grease, wax, and contaminants. If you are working on bare or rusty metal, follow with RustBlast to etch the surface and eliminate active rust before applying RustSeal. On previously painted surfaces, KBS Klean alone is sufficient.

Step 2: RustSeal

Single-component rust encapsulator. Bonds to bare or lightly rusted metal and cures to a rock-hard, corrosion-proof base that locks out moisture and road salts permanently.

Step 3: KBS Top Coater Camo

Your final camo finish. Topcoat RustSeal that is 3 to 8 hours old with no other prep. After that window, lightly scuff with 320 grit, then clean and dry the surface before spraying. The Top Coater delivers color, UV protection, and chemical resistance outdoors.
