KBS Paint Spout: Reusable Paint Can Pour Spout

What is the KBS Paint Spout?

The KBS Paint Spout is a flexible plastic paint can pour spout that fits pint, quart and gallon cans, lets paint pour without drips and keeps the can groove clean so the lid reseals. The spout can be reused up to 25 times, and dry paint pops right off.

3 Can Sizes

Pint, quart and gallon

Up to 25 Uses

Dry paint pops right off

Solvent Safe

Not affected by paint or solvents

Pouring straight from an open can sends paint down the side and into the groove the lid seals against. Dried paint in that groove makes the can hard to reseal. The KBS Paint Spout gives the paint a clean path out of the can, so the groove stays clean for resealing.

Fits Every Common Can: One size fits all pint, quart and gallon cans.
Very Easy to Clean: Dry paint pops right off the spout.
Reusable: Use the same spout up to 25 times.
Made of Flexible Plastic: The spout is not affected by paint or solvents.
Works as a Brush Wiper: Wipe excess paint off a brush against the spout.

How Does a Paint Can Spout Keep the Groove Clean?

A paint can spout keeps the groove clean by giving paint a controlled path out of the can, so it does not run down the rim into the channel where the lid seats. The KBS Paint Spout fits pint, quart and gallon cans, and paint that dries on it pops right off.

Made of flexible plastic, the spout is not affected by paint or solvents, and it also works as a brush wiper. One size fits all pint, quart and gallon cans, and you can order a single spout or a 5 pack.

How Do You Use a Paint Can Spout?

To use the KBS Paint Spout, fit it to the rim of the open can and pour through it. One size fits pint, quart and gallon cans, so the same spout works on every can in your shop. The short video above shows the spout fitted and used.

Stir the coating before you pour. A drill-driven mixer such as the Hurricane Paint Mixer lifts settled pigment off the bottom of the can, and a KBS Paint Mixing Cup measures a working amount. When the job is done, pop dried paint off the spout and store it for the next can.

Pour Spout

These "pouring aid" spouts are really nice to have!. Really can pour from a gallon can of paint into a quart can without spilling a drop! I guess we are likely always thinking..."eh, easy to pour from a gallon can of paint into a quart can " .... sure, but the paint spilling into all of the top of the can seal, at a minimum... but usually and more commonly down the can, over some part of the label and onto our paint table. Stop the fuss and buy a couple of these! Easy clean-up, as well

Best things ever!

I don’t know what I ever did without these helpers! They fit all my can sizes, they clean up easy, and most importantly, I don’t have anymore mess on the can or pouring out my stain!

These spouts keep your can clean, and Rust Seal peels right off of it when dried! Yay! What it does NOT do is keep your Rust Seal can in a way you can close it and come back to it. You still need a sheet of plastic between the can and the lid because Rust Seal is permanent. But I do love these spouts. I believe it saved me a bunch of mess.

Plastic spout

Works awesome! Dosent leave rust seal or any other paint spill on the top of the can were the lid sets when sealed up. With rust seal for sure it you get some around the top we’re the lid sets you’ll never get the lid off like it should be. You’ll end up destroying the can just to remove the lid. Then you have to try to find another can to pour the remaining rust seal so it dosent dry out and you waste 50.00 bucks.
