Gas tank stripper

Have not finished yet, but so far i'm impressed how the stripper removed the old tank liner. Hopefully the rest of the process will take care of it once and for all.

Made in the USA was a must. Great product did it's job. My tank had a few pin holes. No leaks would highly recommend.

Works great!

Works great! Follow the steps a day set aside the time to do it so you aren't rushed at any point. Restored the old tanks of my 76 H-D. Great product so far!

Saved an old tank!

We restored the 3 gallon fuel tank on a 1978 Yamaha XS400 cafe racer project. Fuel was leaking through pinholes in the tank and we were at a standstill til the tank issues were resolved. A time consuming process but it sealed the tank and we were able to move on to painting it.

Concours fuel tank

Very nice product this fuel tank is very large and I didn’t think it would cover it all .to my surprise it easily covered the entire tank. I like the color,it’s silver gray like the original tank looks.The three step system is very good . The shipping of this product is excellent packaged on shipped with out a problem.I would definitely use this again on my next project

Great products

Have used KBS products on four times on rusted motorcycle gas tanks and had excellent results every time. Take your time, follow the procedures as described and you will have success. The oldest tank was done about 10 years ago and it is just like I did it yesterday. Wouldn’t use any other product. Their stripper works great too!

Great product

Tried everything to remove the "liner" for my tank. Read a review on a social media site and decided to try. If you follow the directions you can do a great job. The key is take your time. Took me about a week. Was doing a tank with custom paint. Took my time. Great product would recommend.

Great service and product

Paint remover and rust cleaner worked as advertised. Be careful, strong products but work well. I was worried the liner was not enough to coat tank so ordered larger size and only needed 1/4 of the amount. Really spreads out well. The process of cleaning the tank was a PIA and may pay to have done if need again in future but really turned out well this time. ??

Great Stuff!

I have used this on a few motorcycle tanks over the years and it seem like great stuff. This cleans and seals the tank quite well and seems to be superior to other tank sealers out there. These are before and after photos.

Easy to use!!

I followed the product directions as prescribed. All went as planned. I refinished a 35 year old motorcycle tank I used a inspection camera before and after. I am very confident of the coverage and finish that was achieved.

Great product will use again

Used the tank sealer on an old rusty John Deere B gas tank. We dad previousley attempted to seal the tank with another product but it started to peel up exposing the rusty surface. Used the KBS strip and it turned the old sealer into jelly - amazing. I was able to remove it with ease. Followed the detailed step by step directions, watched the video and it worked like described. I will use this product again in the future. projects.

great product

Bought this product to repair the rusted interior of the tank on my 85 trx 200 atv. The product came with everything needed to completely repair and reseal the tank. Instructions are easy to follow and product worked flawlessly. My tank now looks brand new again!

Good Stuff !!!

I used this coating system to seal a carbon fiber gas tank for an exotic motorcycle. Used the same process as recommended for fiberglass and it went well. The KBS Strip will eat duct tape, though, so be careful how you seal up the tank for that part. Take your time and clean up any leaks or spills quickly. Pretty simple process, if a bit messy. The end result was outstanding and I am sure will hold up well.
