KBS Gold Standard Tank Sealer

2022 Pan America. I bought the kit to coat my aluminum tank in order to prevent early fuel pump failure. Let me say this kit is amazing! The cleaner is top notch, just wear gloves. The etching compound is evident due to the color and texture of the aluminum tank. There was residue from the aluminum welding. that the cleaner removed. The Etching compound turned the aluminum white and provided a clean dry surface to adhere to. Finally the epoxy coating is amazing. The coating is enough and instructions are very clear and concise. Follow them to the letter.

Awesome

I used the KBS large tank kit on a 1986 Yamaha FJ 1200 that has been sitting in storage for 24 years with some fuel left in in the tank. The 2 first stages cleaned the rusty tank so well I could see some bare metal. The coating stage did a fabulous job. This product definitely saved my tank for many years to come.

Awesome Stuff

I used the KBS Strip to remove a failing tank liner from another popular company and this kit. It works like a charm if you are patient and follow the instructions. Don't rush it. It cleaned and prepped the tank to like-new condition. The sealer dries rock hard and is holding up well. Will use KBS again.

Great product

I used the cycle gas tank clean & seal kit. It arrived extremely fast. Cleaning the tank was easy, not messy. Read the instructions and use the products as instructed and the results will be perfect. I ended up with 2 gas tanks perfectly clean and sealed. Was very easy, results great and I didn’t have to be overly worried about the tanks finish paint job.

Tank sealer

Had two tanks that were in bad shape. Both leaked. I wanted to salvage them. Ordered the kit. Followed the directions,watched the video. Amazing product,Amazing company, It would be great if all company's were like KBS. Love their products. Will order again. Would have given more stars. Good job guys. Kevin

Wow!!!

My '01 Fat Boy tank was a total mess. Didn't want to lose the custom paint job and tried KBS' Tank Sealer Kit. I wish I could show you the pictures from my endoscope. 65 mercury tank

i purchased a large cycle tank kit just to try out, i was pleasantly surprised it was almost perfect ,my tank had a coating in it and the cleaner wasn't strong enough. I used a paint remover then the cleaner which did the trick. the coating came out great inside and out.

Worked perfectly

The product worked as advertised. My bike tank leaked at the seam as well as where the fuel valve attached to the tank. After following the directions I now have a leak free tank. Nice!

1967 Honda CL90 Tank

Used the product to clean inside and reseal tank on 1967 Honda CL90. Excellent results. This is the first time I've ever done this. I'm retired but don't be afraid to do it yourself. Must take your time...don't rush yourself. The videos from KBS great and I called there technical support staff for additional answers. They were just great. Thank you KBS . God Bless....Roger. This product worked great and I would use it again. Saved me from having to rig a plastic tank on top of old tank, since it is now obsolete.

Before and after repairing a seam leak

I had a seam leak near the back of tank where the bottom of the tank is roll welded to the upper section. I followed the instructions taking my time to complete the process. There was very little rust in the tank so I didn’t attempt to coat the entire tank, just the bottom third. I sucked out the excess sealer with a turkey baster and kept rolling the tank until the sealer stopped puddling. So far so good - no more leak. Farm tank rehabilitated

Am refurbishing an old Farmall Cub tractor which had been sitting unused for years. The tank was a rusty mess inside. I scrupulously followed the directions and the inside of the tank looks like new. An arduous process but the result was worth it. The tractor is now back in service.

Boat tank

Used large cycle KBS to seal up some pin holes in the welds on a new aluminum fuel tank and pressure tested it to 15psi. No more leaks. Worked great.

Great Product

Used this product to coat an aluminum fuel tank for methanol which customer inadvertantly purchased instead of stainless steel.Product was easy to use and has shown no signs of breaking down in the methanol.
