KBS UnderCoat - Durable, Sound Deadening Rubberized Undercoating

• Wheel wells — blocks road salt and gravel impact that erode factory coatings over time.
• Frames and undercarriages — seals boxed rails and cross members against moisture that collects and causes rust from the inside out.

• Multiple application methods: Sprays from the aerosol can, from bulk sizes with a Schutz-type gun, or applies by brush or roller.
• Economical bulk sizing: Available from a 13 dollar aerosol up to a 55-gallon drum for shops running high volume.
• Uniform matte black finish: Consistent appearance coat to coat, without the mottled look some rattle-can undercoatings leave.

A gallon of KBS UnderCoat covers 100 to 120 square feet on a smooth surface, and coverage scales down proportionally through the smaller sizes: 25 to 30 square feet from a quart, 16 to 20 square feet from an aerosol can.

Recoat window: wait about 10 minutes between aerosol coats, or 2 hours between brush/roll coats. A second brush/roll coat can be top coated after 24 hours.

After KBS UnderCoat: Building the Full Rust Prevention System

KBS UnderCoat is one layer in a complete underbody protection system. For bare or rusted metal, treat it first, then add UnderCoat for sound deadening and chip resistance.

Step 1 — KBS Klean

Degreases and cleans the surface so later coats bond properly.

Step 2 — RustBlast

Neutralizes existing rust and etches bare metal for adhesion.

Step 3 — RustSeal

Seals bare or treated metal permanently against moisture and oxygen.

Then — KBS UnderCoat

Adds the rubberized, sound-deadening top layer once RustSeal is cured.
