How to use a mixing cup for paint?

Find the column set on the KBS Paint Mixing Cup that matches the mix ratio in your paint's directions, such as 4:1. Each ratio has a Paint column, a Hardener column and a Thinner column, numbered 1 to 5. For a 2K paint, pour paint up to a number in the Paint column, then add hardener up to the same number in the Hardener column. For a 1K paint with no hardener, pour the paint straight up to a number in the Hardener column. If the directions call for thinning, add thinner up to the 10%, 20% or 30% mark at that same number in the Thinner column. Stir the mix thoroughly before you spray or brush.

What paints can you mix in a plastic mixing cup?

Pleasantly Sueprised

I needed a 2K Urethane to paint over POR 15 I had pained on the exterior of our stock tank pool. I wanted a tan brown pre tinted. KBS was the only one I found. I was not familiar with the brand. Price was competitive, delivery prompt and product excellent. Very pleased. Will use them again.

Great color match for a classic John Deere

Paint was pre-thinned and easy to use. No issues whatsoever. The spray can was a shade darker than the quart but it was still very close. I used the spray can for the hard to reach places and the quart for everything else. I will buy again. See before and after pictures.

I am doing a 1971chevy Monte Carlo 3yrs ago I painted this frame with top coat it’s been out side and it looks as good as the day I painted it.

Hurricane Paint Mixer

The KBS Hurricane Paint Mixer is a drill-driven mixing paddle with a round metal shaft and plastic mixing head that lifts settled pigment off the bottom of the can and blends heavily pigmented, high solids coatings in as little as 10 seconds. Choose the Quart/Gallon mixer (9-1/2 inch shaft) or the 5 Gallon mixer (15 inch shaft); both fit any corded or cordless 3/8 inch variable speed drill run at 500 to 1500 RPM. KBS directions recommend a mechanical mixer like the Hurricane for RustSeal matte sheens, BlackTop, XTC and KBS MAXX.

RustBlast
