Can I Use KBS Klean Before Painting?

Does New Metal Still Need KBS Klean?
Yes. New metal carries mill oils and manufacturing residues, and slick new steel needs extra etch time.
Will KBS Klean Work on Bare Aluminum?
Yes, at 25 parts hot water to 1 part with a soft pad. Wipe, do not soak, and rinse immediately.
Will KBS Klean Harm Paint?
Not a fully cured one. It is used routinely on painted surfaces when diluted and rinsed per the directions.
Can I Store Mixed KBS Klean and Reuse It?
Yes, in a standard chemical spray bottle, and you can use it cold. Label the bottle with its ratio.
Can I Use KBS Klean in a Parts Washer?
Yes. Apply the normal ratio to the full tank volume. 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums are available.
Does KBS Klean Remove Road Salt?
Yes, and it neutralizes it. Salt left under a coating keeps driving corrosion, so this step comes first.
Is KBS Klean Safe on Plastic Tank Internals?
