How should KBS Klean be mixed when cleaning the inside of a fuel tank?
KBS Klean is a powerful concentrated cleaner and can normally be diluted at a ratio of 10 parts hot water to 1 part KBS Klean for most general cleaning applications.
However, when cleaning the inside of a fuel tank, maximum cleaning power is required. For this reason, we strongly recommend using KBS Klean at full strength.
Full-strength mixing for tank cleaning is: 1 part hot water to 1 part KBS Klean. This stronger mixture ensures proper removal of fuel residue, varnish, oil contamination, and internal tank buildup prior to sealing.
