Once you open the Tank Sealer do you have to use it right away or can I split between multiple tanks?

Yes. One appropriately sized Tank Sealer Kit can be used on multiple tanks. Both tanks must be fully prepped first. When applying Tank Sealer, pour part of the can into one tank and immediately pour the remaining portion into the other tank. Never drain Tank Sealer from one tank into another. KBS Klean and RustBlast may be reused on multiple tanks during preparation. Any remaining Tank Sealer may be stored for later use when sealed properly and used within six months.

You may also pour a portion of the Tank Sealer into a properly prepped tank, then place painter's type plastic between the lid and the Tank Sealer can to reseal it for later use. Stored properly (cool, dry place), the remaining Tank Sealer can be reused within six months.

KBS Klean and RustBlast can be reused on multiple tanks and may be poured from one tank to the next without losing effectiveness during the preparation process.
