KBS Klean is a concentrated cleaner that must always be diluted with water at a minimum 1:1 ratio — warm or hot water works best. Using it undiluted is the most common cause of residue. To remove residue already on the surface, gently scrub with a green Scotch-Brite pad dampened with clean water. Always rinse thoroughly after use, as any remaining cleaner can interfere with coating adhesion.

Why is KBS Klean Leaving a Residue on My Surface?

KBS Klean is a powerful concentrated cleaner and must always be diluted with water — warm or hot water works best — at a minimum ratio of 1 part KBS Klean to 1 part water for maximum effectiveness. Using it undiluted or at too strong a concentration is the most common cause of residue.

To remedy residue already on the surface, dampen a green Scotch-Brite style pad with clean water and gently scrub the affected area to rinse away any remaining cleaner.
